Masahiro Maruyama designs frames that look like interrupted sculptures: broken profiles, deliberate asymmetries, surfaces that appear carved by hand. Each piece is made in Japan, in the Sabae district, with craft processes that make two identical examples hard to find. It is not a brand for everyone — it is for people who want their glasses to be the most interesting thing they wear.
